If you start and publish a post on Substack within a week of my publishing this, I owe you a coffee.
Seriously. You can write about anything.
As long as you have a published post that you have written, I give you my word that I will buy you a drink.
If you’re in town (Mangalore or Manipal), I would love to catch up to do that.
If not, I’ll send a couple of hundred bucks and we can catch up virtually.
Why?
Because we need more writers.
The world needs people that express their thoughts through beautiful articulation.
If you’ve been wanting to write, or you’ve been reading this newsletter, I urge you to start.
The world would be a better place if you broke down ideas you think are good and put them for others to explore.
There is a war going on right now against speech and individual opinion.
We’re being herded and shepherded to think like the general masses.
We're being policed to comply and not have a different opinion.
Fuck that.
And, in times like these thinking for yourself and expressing it is the greatest act of rebellion.
Write about your cat or write about your problems.
Write about your lessons or write about your failures.
Write about your toxic ex or your boring boyfriend.
Write anything.
Express yourself.
It’s a beautiful feeling when your fingers are typing on their own, and you’re locked in a flow state.
It’s a beautiful feeling once you’ve pressed publish.
Nobody has to see it, but your thoughts are more than just neural firing, now.
They’re a tangible thing out in the world now. You’ve birthed something of your own.
I have less than 100 readers on this platform right now.
Each post gets somewhere between 30-50 views.
I’ll never get to do this again (Because I have plans to get this to blow up lol)
So, here’s my email address- mindsinfinite.blog@gmail.com
Once you’ve written and published your first piece of work on Substack, email it to me.
I hope to see you on a coffee date soon.
Love,
Ashwin.
