Here’s a hot take— it is easier than ever today, to get into the top 10% of men today. I am prepared to take the well-deserved backlash for this, but here’s what I believe (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)—
Masculinity is facing a crisis. For nearly all my teenage years, I’d hated men because I knew what atrocities they were capable of; what atrocities I was capable of. There seemed to have been a severe lack of reliable, self-assured, strong men to look up to. There was no middle ground it seemed like for masculinity, it was either weak men cowering and fighting for every other cause than fixing their own goddamn lives or walking examples of toxic masculinity.
To me, it seems pretty evident that there can be a middle ground. You can have everything you want in your life provided you stand up for yourself and work for it. In this day and age where everyone is either caught in cycles of vicious addictions of drugs, alcohol, porn, and every other vice you could think of, you owe it to yourself to take charge of your life.
So, why is it a blessing to be a man today? Let me explain— We are competitive creatures. We have competed for resources, to be selected by the best mates, to climb our way up hierarchies for eons. No other time in history have people been this unmotivated for all of these things. Everyone is comfortable.
Everyone is crippled by their vices. The amount of men working on their physical and mental wellbeing is at its lowest. The number of men aiming at climbing the hierarchies is at its lowest.
They find meaning in video games and pushing trophies. The lack of knowledge that responsibility brings meaning is lost. Imagine what your life would look like if you took active responsibility for your well-being first and then the people around you— your tribe.
Imagine you worked in your 20’s solely for yourself to build a life of meaning and a life of security for your people. Imagine if you leveled up in areas of physical, mental, professional, and spiritual well-being. Imagine if you could stop watching porn and masturbating, if you stopped binge-eating, chasing girls every chance you got, gave up alcohol and drugs. What would your life look like?
We need every single one of you to change and shape this world. Comfort is killing you and your dreams. Open your eyes, see and get to work, the world needs you, soldier.
